- Monitor Azure resource usage to plan and execute performance optimization, and system enhancements, and implement security best practices.
- Develop and manage system integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Integration Services, PowerApps, and similar tools.
- Design large-scale data lakes, database schemas, and data models to meet the needs of complex implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with industry standards and business goals.
- Document project milestones and track progress through detailed reports.
- Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Azure, cloud applications, and system administration.
- Collaborate with client teams to assess their current architecture, including data sources, technologies, interfaces, performance challenges, and system configurations.
- Partner closely with the client throughout the entire data warehousing program, covering data acquisition, curation, and syndication processes.
- Leverage expertise in Microsoft platform tools to support successful Azure implementation projects.
- Act as the subject matter expert on Azure, offering guidance on cloud applications and system administration best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Certifications such as Azure Developer Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert are highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing web and API-based technologies.
- 4+ years of experience in managing or administering Windows servers.
- 2+ years of hands-on project experience in Azure software design and development.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, unit testing frameworks, modern web programming, and code versioning/integration.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong capability in translating business requirements into technical architecture.
- Proven experience in deploying and migrating workloads to Azure.
- Expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies.
- Familiarity with command-line scripting and Microsoft PowerShell development.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as JSON, XML, and PowerShell.
- In-depth understanding of Azure Active Directory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Purview, and Azure Synapse.
- Knowledge of key network protocols such as DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, and SFTP.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Practical experience with Azure Analytics tools, including Stream Analytics, Machine Learning, and Application Insights.
- Proficiency in data modeling and ETL processes using tools such as Erwin, Azure Databricks, Data Factory, SSIS, and Azure Synapse.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining system integrations utilizing platforms like Azure Logic Apps, Integration Services, Power Automate, and PowerApps.
- Strong familiarity with the Microsoft Azure data platform, including Power BI, Azure Data Lake, data warehouses, and Azure Data Factory.
- Experience in migrating on-premises applications to Azure PaaS and Azure IaaS.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
