Job Title: Data Protection REG Remediation Leader

Work Location: Atlanta, GA

Job Description:

• Total year of experience – 20 years

• Mandate – 15 years of cybersecurity domain knowledge in any of the cybersecurity tracks

• Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies and solutions, specifically areas of expertise should include one or more of the following -- data protection, data loss prevention, IAM, CIAM, vulnerability management, patch management, cyber defense, threat intel, encryption, MFA, authentication/authorization, application onboarding, etc.

• Broad understanding of information and/or cyber security and associated frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).

• Familiarity with cybersecurity threats, defense mechanisms, and regulatory requirements specific to the banking industry.

• Degrees or Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.

• Strategic and Innovative Thinking:

• Ability to think strategically about integrating cybersecurity measures into business processes and technologies.

• Innovative mindset to encourage the adoption of new security technologies and practices.

• Risk Management Skills:

• Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating project risks and clearly communicating these to stakeholders.

• Project Management Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within cybersecurity or IT, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver large-scale cybersecurity projects on time and within budget.
