- Platform Maintenance & High Availability: Ensure continuous high availability of the Informatica platform by monitoring system performance and proactively addressing potential issues.
- Daily Administrative Tasks: Manage routine tasks such as creating users, setting up folders, and configuring database connections to support operational needs.
- System Monitoring & Optimization: Continuously monitor system performance across all environments, diagnosing and resolving bottlenecks, and addressing performance issues.
- Incident Management: Handle outages, restarts, and configuration/tuning for production and non-production environments. Provide root cause analysis for application-related issues.
- Issue Resolution & Debugging: Debug job failures, troubleshoot performance issues, and work with cross-functional teams such as Unix, Networking, and Database to resolve environment-specific issues.
- Job Scheduling & Control: Schedule jobs, set alerts, and leverage Control-M for effective workload automation.
- ETL Process Management: Collaborate with a global team to implement new ETL processes across multiple data warehouses, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and recoverability.
- Informatica Platform Administration: Install, configure, and administer the Informatica platform for maximum utilization, while ensuring performance tuning, environment reliability, and availability.
- AWS Services Expertise: Strong knowledge of AWS like storage, security, monitoring, computing, and networking, ensuring seamless integration with Informatica.
- Linux Scripting & SQL: Utilize your knowledge of Linux scripting, SQL programming, and database management to optimize ETL processes.
- Informatica Architecture & Multi-Node Environments: Possess a deep understanding of Informatica ProwerCenter, IICS architecture, multi-node environments, CDI-PC flow, and Elastic cluster setups for IICS.
- Security & Compliance: Maintain the security framework within Informatica, especially in INFA 9.1, including working with third-party security providers, and defining and governing entitlements and authentication strategies.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work collaboratively with technical staff and business experts to deliver solutions that meet business requirements, and create clear, concise documentation for recommended approaches.

- Strong Communicator: Able to liaise effectively between technology teams and business stakeholders, with the ability to provide clear documentation and recommendations.

- Informatica Administration Expertise: 5+ years of experience in administering and supporting Informatica, specifically PowerCenter, PowerExchange, and Data Quality (version 9.5 or higher).
- Linux/UNIX Proficiency: Strong experience working with Linux/UNIX operating systems, including the ability to execute associated commands and write shell scripts.
- Database & SQL Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of relational database design and support, particularly in handling large SQL-based enterprise systems.
- Code Deployment & User Management: Proficient in deploying code, managing users, and handling platform hotfix upgrades.
- Problem Solving & Debugging: Possess excellent analytical skills for debugging application issues and providing effective solutions.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling clear collaboration across teams and stakeholders.
