Job Overview

As an Informatica Cloud Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and manage robust data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC). You’ll collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other IT specialists to ensure seamless data flow, while maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of enterprise data.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Data Workflows: Design and build efficient data integration workflows and mappings using IICS and IDMC, aligning with business needs.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with data architects and analysts to understand data goals and ensure solutions meet requirements.
• Maintain Existing Solutions: Support and enhance existing data integration processes to ensure they operate smoothly.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize and improve the performance of data workflows and mappings to achieve higher efficiency.
• Data Quality & Governance: Implement data quality measures and enforce data governance policies to maintain data consistency and accuracy.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Quickly diagnose and resolve any issues related to data integration to prevent downtime.
• Documentation: Prepare clear documentation of all data integration processes, workflows, and technical specifications.
• Ensure Data Security: Uphold data accuracy, integrity, and security across all integration activities.
   

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in data integration using Informatica IICS and IDMC.
• Data Warehousing Expertise: Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with database technologies.
• SQL Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL, along with experience working with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities paired with strong analytical thinking.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
   

Software Requirements

The candidate will be responsible for coding, conducting code reviews, testing software, and participating in application architecture, design, and other critical platform phases. The ideal candidate should be a proactive, self-motivated team player dedicated to meeting deadlines and able to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• Informatica Cloud Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Informatica Cloud architecture and design principles is essential.
• Hands-On Experience: Proficiency in setting up Informatica Cloud, including mapping development, testing, and task automation.
• Advanced Informatica Cloud Features: Strong experience with Informatica Cloud features such as agent configuration, task automation, and deploying task flows across different environments.
• Logical Reasoning: Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills are required for efficient software development.
• SQL Performance Tuning: Hands-on expertise in SQL query performance tuning is crucial.
• UNIX Shell Scripting: Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting is necessary.
• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with GitHub, DevOps, CICD, and enterprise code management tools is required for streamlined development.
• Informatica PowerCenter and Data Quality Tools: Working knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality tools is beneficial.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
