Job Responsibilities

As an MDM Developer, you will be responsible for implementing Master Data Management strategies and driving the execution of MDM solutions using Informatica technologies. Your role will involve aligning the MDM framework with the company’s vision and facilitating data management best practices to ensure successful project outcomes. Primary roles of MDM Developer will include: 

• Collaborating with business users to lead MDM requirements analysis sessions.
• Planning and managing MDM activities for key domains, such as customer and product data.
• Performing source system analysis and data profiling to support lifecycle data management.
• Defining measurable data metrics and establishing minimum required attributes to support an MDM platform’s deployment.
• Supporting the architecture and development of MDM platforms, ensuring data consolidation and integrity.
   

Required Skills and Experience

• To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in Master Data Management with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. 
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in MDM design, development, and support, with expertise in Informatica MDM.
• Proficiency in using Informatica Data Controls, Data Director, and Data Quality tools.
• Proven experience in developing MDM strategies and implementing services related to Data Governance, Data Quality, and Metadata Management.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data integration methods such as ETL, data replication, and data services.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver data-driven solutions aligned with business goals.
   

Technical skills

• Strong understanding of Master Data Management architectures and related business processes.
• Proficiency with tools like Entity 360, Provisioning Tool, and Informatica Data Director (IDD).
• Familiarity with Informatica MDM APIs, including SIF and Business Entity Services.
• Expertise in ActiveVOS BPM for business process management.
• Ability to design Informatica MDM solutions, along with Data Quality and Data Integration based on client requirements.
• Experience in configuring MDM components such as Landing, Staging, and Base Objects.
• Strong background in Match and Merge Configuration and Performance Tuning for enhanced data management.
• Knowledge of MDM security implementation, including user creation, role management, and assigning user groups.
• Capable of developing, testing, and deploying MDM, Data Quality, and Data Integration solutions according to customer schedules.
• Experience in executing test plans, documenting results, and troubleshooting solutions when necessary.
   

Desired Skills and Experience

• Certification as an Informatica Professional or related credentials.
• Certification in TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks.
• Experience with data integration tools like Informatica PowerCenter, Microsoft SSIS, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
