Job Title: Loan IQ Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced business Analyst with deep knowledge of Loan IQ to join our innovative team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in refining and optimizing our loan management systems using the Loan IQ platform.

The loan IQ consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the technical aspects of project deliverables. This includes collaborating closely with application and infrastructure teams, ensuring the successful implementation of technical solutions, and actively contributing to every phase of the project, from development and testing to final deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for enhancements or new implementations of the loan IQ system.
• Leverage loan IQ data for report generation, trend analysis, and actionable insights to drive well-informed business decisions.
• Led and oversaw the execution of Loan IQ system upgrades, enhancements, and installations, ensuring they integrate smoothly with existing workflows and systems.
• They are assessing and analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and offering solutions to streamline loan operations and workflows with loan IQ consultants.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with industry best practices, maximizing the capabilities of the loan IQ platform.
   

Qualifications

• Expertise in loan IQ with a proven ability to utilize its features for managing commercial lending and syndicated loans.
• Extensive experience in business analysis, focusing on process improvements and system implementation within the financial services sector.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, including advanced SQL or other relevant data querying tools.
• Develop thorough test cases and scenarios that align with product requirements and user stories.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that test cases reflect product functionality and expected outcomes.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and provide user training and support.
   

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as a business analyst in the financial services industry, with a focus on loan management and loan IQ utilization.
• Technical requirements
• Minimum of 8 years working with the loan IQ platform and SDK development.
• In-depth understanding of the Finastra Loan IQ data model and key components.
• Proficient in at least one messaging system such as IBM MQ.
• Strong command of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux, with the ability to write shell and batch scripts.
• Solid experience in cloud-based systems.
• Ability to work with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools.
• Able to reprioritize swiftly in response to changing circumstances.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of performing under pressure, managing deadlines, and adjusting to unexpected project shifts.
• Deep understanding of various project lifecycle methodologies such as SSADM, Waterfall, UML, DSDM, Agile, and RAD.
• Functional knowledge of loan products and syndication processes.
• Experience in system data migration with both technical and functional insights.
• Knowledge of EVM scripting and XQ queries to interface with downstream systems.
• Experience with Datanet report design and generation is a plus.
