Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Implementation Technical Consultant with a strong background in Business Objects Data Services (BODS) to contribute to various streams of our cloud implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach, technical expertise, and a collaborative mindset, ready to deliver high-quality solutions and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Worked as an integral team member, actively contributing to the technical aspects of cloud implementation projects. Your expertise will be essential in driving successful project outcomes.
• Interface with onsite coordinators to ensure seamless communication between the client and the technical team.
• Communicate with customer representatives to gather requirements, provide updates, and address any technical concerns, ensuring the customer is engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
• Be flexible and willing to travel to customer locations when required to provide on-site technical support, implementation, or consultation.
• Play a key role in building a quality-driven culture within the project team by ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest standards.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud implementation, data migration, and development processes.
• Actively contribute to the professional growth of project resources by providing training and mentoring, fostering an environment of continuous learning and skill development.
• Participate in organization-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing team performance, employee engagement, and process improvements. Contribute beyond project deliverables to support company-wide goals.
   

Requirements

• A range of 3 to 11 years of experience in cloud implementation and data services, with a focus on Business Objects Data Services (BODS).
• Strong hands-on experience as a technical developer working with BODS.
• Proficient in developing real-time interfaces, including IDOC and BAPI for SAP applications in integration with BODS.
• Ability to manage various BODS transformations and contribute to complex data processes.
• Extensive experience with end-to-end data migration projects, including planning, execution, and validation of data transfers using BODS.
• Strong capability to handle large-scale data migration activities while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Sound knowledge of SQL with the ability to write and troubleshoot queries, optimize performance, and integrate databases within BODS.
• Strong analytical skills to independently identify, analyze, and resolve ETL issues, ensuring smooth data flows and migration processes.
• Hands-on experience in installing and configuring BODS in different environments, ensuring system stability and integration readiness.
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with clients and internal teams.
• Willingness to contribute to organizational goals through participation in broader people initiatives.
   

Experience

• Ability to accurately estimate the work effort required for BODS-related tasks, providing clear timelines and resource allocations for project planning.
• Proficient in working with SAP systems as both source and target for data integration, ensuring seamless data flows and system compatibility.
• Capable of engaging directly with customers to gather requirements, with the ability to work independently to deliver solutions based on those requirements.
• Basic knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, including schema formation, to support effective data integration and management processes.
• Strong familiarity with BODS scheduling and its Management Console for managing tasks, jobs, and performance monitoring.
   

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in Data Management: Data Integration, with a focus on SAP BODS technology.
   

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in any specialization.
• Any postgraduate.
