    Job Title: Lead SAP SD 

    Work Location: Columbus IN (Onsite)

     

    Job Description:

    • Create comprehensive solution designs, focusing on scalability, efficiency, and adherence to industry best practices.
    • As a lead SAP SD have to configure and customize SAP SD modules to meet business requirements.
    • Managing end-to-end sales processes, including order processing, pricing, delivery, and billing.
    • Lead SAP SD has to Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SD with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management) and FI (Finance).
    • Conducting user training and providing support for SAP SD users.
    • Analyzing business processes and proposing improvements and enhancements.
    • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to SD module functionality.
    • Keeping up-to-date with SAP SD best practices and industry trends.
    • Participating in SAP implementation projects, upgrades, and migrations.
    • Generating reports and analytics to support decision-making.
    • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
    • Conduct complete system testing to ensure the functionality and performance of SAP SD Billing solutions are validated.
       

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead the design, development, testing, and implementation of SAP SD solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and translate them into effective SAP Order to Cash solutions.
    • Customize and configure SAP S/4HANA SD/LE modules to align with business requirements, optimizing system performance for sales contracting, order management, pricing, and logistics operations.
    • Document business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs, while developing detailed test cases to ensure process accuracy and consistency.
    • Provide functional support for SAP Order to Cash processes, including sales contracting, order management, billing, returns, shipping, output/forms, credit memos, debit memos, and logistics.
    • Conduct functional, system integration, and regression testing to ensure system setups meet performance expectations and are error-free.
    • Offer comprehensive support for SAP S/4HANA Order to Cash applications, managing troubleshooting, issue resolution, and ongoing system maintenance.
       

    Qualifications and Required Knowledge:

    • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
    • 6+ years of hands-on experience with the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
    • Strong understanding of business processes within relevant areas of responsibility.
    • Solid knowledge of SAP module integration.
    • Familiarity with third-party tool integration using EDI, IDOCs, or other interface methods.
    • Experience with full lifecycle implementations and ECC or S/4 Hana rollouts in large-scale international projects.
    • Previous experience with master data management and migration processes.
    • Awareness of the latest SAP technologies and industry trends.
    • Proficiency in both written and spoken English.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Basic understanding of ABAP development, including debugging, tracing, and code analysis.
    • Proficiency in additional SAP modules such as MM, FI, CO, and integration.
    • Knowledge of SAP Sustainability Management products.
    • SAP certification in core functional areas.
    • Familiarity with SAP Activate or other agile implementation methodologies.
