- Collaborate with customers, NDBS sales, and business development teams to translate business needs into solutions that leverage SAP Ariba’s capabilities. This includes architecting SAP Ariba within the broader solution landscape and compiling detailed statements of work to support the sales and deal review processes. Led and coordinated complex, in-depth workshops with senior customer stakeholders.
- Provide strategic guidance to NDBS and its customers on procurement strategies, utilizing SAP Ariba solutions and staying aligned with the SAP Ariba product roadmap.
- Serve as the design authority on projects, ensuring that SAP Ariba solutions are implemented with high quality and in alignment with industry best practices.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and developments by engaging in continuous learning, ensuring NDBS remains a leader in the market. Share expertise within the team to enhance business processes and contribute to others' development.
- Identify potential opportunities for repeat and extended business across NDBS’s end-to-end service offerings, and proactively contribute to business growth by recognizing customer needs.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in delivering and configuring SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing, SAP Ariba Source to Contract, and Ariba Supplier Management solutions.
- Possess strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay and Supplier Management processes for both direct and indirect procurement.
- Familiarity with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4 HANA sourcing, procurement, and accounts payable processes would be an added advantage.
- Effectively communicate, influence, and inspire through personal leadership, acting as a trusted advisor in SAP Ariba solution architecture.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex customer projects with SAP Ariba solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships quickly with stakeholders both internally and externally, becoming a trusted expert in the field.
- Demonstrates professionalism and integrity, with the ability to overcome unexpected challenges while keeping business objectives in focus. Is results-oriented and able to inspire others through behavior and communication.
- Makes sound, reliable decisions in complex situations and environments.

- The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of professional experience in a SAP Ariba consulting environment. Experience working with a value-added reseller or software provider is advantageous.
- Proven experience in solution design and architecture with a successful track record of delivering between 4 to 6 full project lifecycles.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant SAP consulting experience in a professional services setting, either with a large or boutique consulting firm or as an internal consultant within a company.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on implementation experience with SAP procurement modules, processes, and integrations.
- Expertise in the functional configuration and design of SAP Ariba and SAP Materials Management (MM).
- Experience with S/4 HANA implementations.
- Participation in all phases of at least two SAP Supply Chain/Direct Procurement implementations, with at least one in a lead role.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, depending on the nature of the work and the clients and industries served.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with SAP APO, SAP PP, and SAP SRM modules.
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and Vendor Payment workflows.
- Understanding of SAP ASAP and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with Signavio.
- Experience with Greenfield implementations.
- A Master’s degree is preferred..

This role plays a key part in sales cycles by serving as the Ariba solution specialist and contributing to implementation projects to validate solution design, execution strategy, and client satisfaction. We seek a professional who will be instrumental in building client trust and confidence in SAP procurement solutions, ensuring that these solutions effectively address customer challenges. Additionally, the SAP Ariba Solution Lead will play a pivotal role in developing and growing the Ariba Practice.
